No one is exempt from the human experience; which encompasses emotional, mental, and spiritual pain. I believe in healing people through the power of connection, empathy, and shared experience. I believe in providing a space for healing that is shame and judgement free; allowing people to get to the heart of their struggle thus allowing them to live to their fullest potential. I am a huge proponent of group therapy as Neuropsychology suggests the most powerful tool for growing empathy and treating a vast array of human suffering is through group work.
Andrea has a background understanding the complex needs of veterans and their families and vast experience working with children and adolescents; sub-specializing in military social work and child and adolescent therapy. Andrea is well trained in group psychotherapy and has a passion for facilitating connections among people to achieve a greater sense of self, and a greater sense of belonging.
What I want you to know about therapy
Therapy is not about exposing shame, it's about healing pain. Heart and soul work that produces lasting and meaningful change.
I am a compassionate, knowledgeable, and empathetic person who wants to help you live to your full potential. Life can be painful, but it can also be beautiful and I want to help others find the beauty in their life.
I truly value helping others through their rock bottom; whatever that looks like. I am a therapist because I want others to have the opportunity to meet their full potential and break free of whatever prison they’re trapped in. Finding freedom is an art, and I am an artist.
When I’m not at WCCE
I spend time supporting and enjoying my children’s activities. I love being a mom and watching my children grow into adulthood. I love everything about Marvel and The Avengers; Iron Man is my favorite. I also enjoy cartooning, writing, reading, and traveling. I also love soul sharing conversations coupled with long road trips with my husband.
